Develop skirts, trousers & shorts to your fit block
Lace skirts, embroidered wide-leg trousers, pleated pants and shorts each need their own construction and fit decisions. The reference photo helps establish the silhouette; your specification controls the finished garment.
Start with the key measurements
For pants and shorts, include waist, hip, rise, thigh, inseam and leg opening. For skirts, state waistband position, hip ease and finished length. Tell us whether the waist is fixed, elasticated or adjustable.
Resolve closures & coverage
Confirm the waistband, zip or button closure, pocket placement and lining requirement. Eyelet and lace styles may need coverage decisions; do not assume lining or pockets from a front-only photograph.
Check movement & finishing
Review sitting comfort, seam placement, hem finish and the effect of the selected fabric on drape. Agree wash, shrinkage and pressing requirements, then approve the fit sample before grading.
