Women’s Wear Manufacturing for Australian Brands

NEWCOM is a China-based women’s wear development and manufacturing partner for Australian labels. Start with your own tech pack or an edited product reference, then agree the fit, materials, approvals and delivery plan before committing to bulk.

Build the brief around your Australian launch

An Australian collection needs a clear selling window, a brand-specific fit standard and a destination plan. We do not present this service as Australian-made production: development is coordinated from Guangzhou, China.

Plan by selling month

State your launch month, first delivery deadline and whether the range is resort, daywear or occasion wear. Separate the date you need fit samples from the date goods must reach your nominated warehouse.

Use your AU fit block

Send your base size, measurement chart, units and size ratios. An AU size label alone is not a measurement specification. Include finished lengths, ease and tolerances for the customer fit you want.

Confirm colour & fabric options

Shortlist silhouettes first, then approve the actual swatches, lining and trims. Printed dresses, embroidered blouses and two-piece sets may have different material minimums and approval steps.

Quotation checklist

What to send for an Australia-bound quote

Include the product codes or your drawings; quantities by style, colour and size; fabric or swatch requirements; your target delivery window; and the destination city/postcode. Identify your importer or freight arrangement and ask for the shipment term to be written in the quotation. Freight, duties and destination charges should not be assumed to be included in a garment unit price.

Keep sample approval separate from shipping approval

Review the development sample against your measurements, then approve colour, fabric, trim and any label artwork before bulk. Ask what is included in the sample cost and quote, how revision rounds are handled and which dates depend on material availability. The final transport method and cost are confirmed for the actual shipment; there is no blanket promise of door-to-door timing.

Review the sampling and production approval process, factory information and available audit document, and the buyer enquiry kit before sending your brief.

Development examples

Reference silhouettes to discuss

These clean product images help communicate shape and detail. They are development references, not verified customer case studies or a ready-stock offer. Materials, availability and the production specification require confirmation.

Buyer questions

Are you an Australian clothing factory?

No. NEWCOM is based in China, with development coordinated from Guangzhou. This page is for Australian brands sourcing OEM/ODM manufacturing, not a claim of local Australian production.

Can I use my own Australian size chart?

Send your base-size measurements and grading rules with the brief. Fit and the size run are agreed through sample approval; an AU size label on its own does not define the pattern.

What minimum order and timing should I plan for?

Our published starting reference is 100–150 pcs per style and 7–9 days for sampling. Actual minimums and dates depend on the confirmed brief, materials, colours and revisions, and must be agreed in your quotation.
